{"id":14043,"date":"2022-04-18T12:44:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-18T09:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aeginapages.com\/en\/?p=14043"},"modified":"2022-08-19T16:26:08","modified_gmt":"2022-08-19T13:26:08","slug":"beef-with-mushrooms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aeginapages.com\/en\/beef-with-mushrooms\/","title":{"rendered":"Beef with mushrooms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2-3 tbs olive oil to saut\u00e9 the meat<\/li><li>500 g beef or pork tenderloin, cut into thin strips<\/li><li>2 medium onions, finely chopped<\/li><li>2 cloves garlic, crushed<\/li><li>500 g mushrooms, whole or sliced<\/li><li>2 tsp cornflour<\/li><li>250 g dairy cream<\/li><li>\u00bd tbs tomato paste<\/li><li>\u00bd cup beef broth<\/li><li>2 tbs parsley, finely chopped<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In a non-stick pot, add the oil and lightly saut\u00e9 the meat until golden brown to seal in the juices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove to a plate and cover with aluminium foil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same pot, saut\u00e9 the onions and garlic, add the remaining ingredients and cook. Add the meat at the end. Cook until tender and flavourful. (If using pork tenderloin, it does not need to cook for very long.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When cooked, mix the cornflour with the dairy cream, add to the pot and bring to a boil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Serve with rice or pappardelle and pistachio pesto (prepare with rocket instead of other herbs and omit the garlic).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
