The atelier of Pavlos Valomenos will present the new exhibition entitled “Travels” on Wednesday 7/5.
“I TRAVEL to meet the landscape that will enchant my eyes, my heart and my mind and then I will paint it.” It is the motivation of painters who spring into action. We will see the results on the canvas, in images stations of the senses.
Those who visit the atelier will have the opportunity to see this exhibition which contains unique works.

The artists participating in the exhibition are:
Christina Kavvoura, Manos Kastrinakis, Mary Katte, Konstantinos Kontos, Sofia Bomboli, Nancy Naomidou, Konstantina Dziavou, Nikos Sotiropoulos, Tarsi Tzenanidou, Pavlos Valomenos

Pavlos Valomenos
He is a graduate of the Visual and Applied Arts Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He lives and works in Aegina as a painter and teacher. He exhibits in group and individual exhibitions.

Christina Kavvoura
She is a graduate of the visual and applied arts department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with professors K. Mortarakos and Xeni Sahini. She lives and works in Thessaloniki as a teacher. Participates in group and individual exhibitions in Thessaloniki and Athens.

Manos Kastrinakis
He was born in Vienna. He went to A.S.K.T. of Athens in the period 1980-81, in the laboratory of professor D. Kokkindis, and their professors K. Grammatopoulos, P. Tetsi, D. Mytara. He worked in newspapers and magazines from 1979 and from 1987 until 2009 at Dimos. Org. Lambrakis as the Group’s Production Director. He paints with oil as the main material, but also with mixed color techniques. His work has been published in a one-hour program “ARTISTIC FICTIONS” on ICO RADIO.

Mary Katte
She was born in Athens. He studied painting at ASKT with Professor T. Patraskidis. She graduated in 2000 with honors. Since 2004 she has been teaching the course of aesthetic education in primary education. She lives and works in Athens.

Konstantinos Kontos
He is a doctor, neurologist specialist. In his artistic expression, he deals with fantasy expressionism. He exhibits his works in Greece, Italy and New York. His work has been published in a one-hour show “ARTISTIC FICTIONS” on ICO RADIO.

Sophia Bomboli
She is a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Department of Visual and Applied Arts. She lives and works in Athens as a painter, art teacher and curator. Her work has been awarded by ELTA.

Nancy Naomidou
She was born in Athens and creates in Piraeus. She trained in tenchi with Pavlos Samios 2012 – 2015 at the Athens School of Fine Arts in the Hagiography workshop. She has also been taught painting and sculpture with the teachers Vassilis Katsivelakis, Panagiotis Beltekos, Vassilis Soulis and Dimitris Sarasitis. She has participated in more than 15 exhibitions in Greece and abroad – the main ones being 2015 Exhibition of the Pavlos Samios Hagiography Workshop at the Academy of Fine Arts of Athens, 2021 Group Exhibition at the Tsichritzi Arts Foundation et al. In 2022 she held a solo exhibition in Nafplio.

Konstantina Dziavu
She graduated from ASKT of Athens, with professors Chr. Botsoglu and Erasmus in Brera di Milano, she also attended ceramic art conservation at the Instituto di Formazioni Scuola Cova in Milan, at the Scuola Cova. Since 2004 she has been a permanent teacher in secondary education. She has taken part in many group painting exhibitions and has held two individual exhibitions.

Nikos Sotiropoulos
With further training in London at Chealsea School of Art and their teachers: D. Mytaras, P. Zoumboulakis, Georgiadis and G. Parmakeli of the Athens School Doxiadis has studied Graphic Arts and Decoration, He has been taught design with Iliadis, Lombardos, Persakis and Vogiatzis . He has taken part in 20 group exhibitions and held 4 solo exhibitions, while exhibiting at the Holland Tunnel Gallery.

Tarsi Tzenanidou
She is a graduate of the School of Visual and Applied Arts, AUTH. He lives in Thessaloniki. Her works have been distinguished in Greece and abroad. She is a member of the Athens Chamber of Fine Arts, SKETVE, while she herself is the president of the Society of Speech and Art.
